District 9 Junior Bridge Scholarship Fund

The District 9 Junior Bridge Scholarship Fund was established by District 9’s board of directors on January 7, 2008. The purpose of the fund is to increase youth participation in bridge within the State of Florida through scholarships to attend tournaments and to participate in educational opportunities.

Since its inception, the fund has awarded $120,390.20 in scholarships. These grants have been used to help offset expenses to attend the annual Youth North American Bridge Championships held at the North American Bridge Championships in the summer as well as attending educational seminars throughout the year.

The fund is managed by the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys, Inc. (CFFK): 300 Southard Street, Suite 201, Key West, FL 33040, (305) 292-1502. To learn more about the scholarship fund and this foundation, please visit Community Foundation of the Florida Keys (cffk.org).
